We're pleased to announce that Andrew Brisbo, will be speaking on Thursday of the 2018 Michigan Nursing Summit, October 18-19. Brisbo will be one of two expert panelists for Myth Busting Medical Marihuana.
Andrew Brisbo is the Director of The Bureau of Medical Marihuana Regulation (BMMR). The BMMR in the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) was created in 2017 to implement the Medical Marihuana Facilities Licensing Act and Marihuana Tracking Act and oversee Michigan’s existing medical marihuana registry card program under the Michigan Medical Marihuana Act.
BMMR’s mission is to establish Michigan as the national model for a regulatory program that stimulates business growth while preserving safe patient access to medical marihuana. Brisbo, the Director of BMMR, has been in licensing and regulation with the State of Michigan since 2004, including experience with the Michigan Gaming Control Board, Department of State, and occupational and health professional licensing in LARA.
