Course Faculty: Roxane Chan, PhD, RN, AHN-BC, Assistant Professor Michigan State University College of Nursing Trained Instructor from Center for Mindfulness at the University of California San Diego
Program Outcome: Nurses will be able to apply the concept of self-compassion as they establish self-compassionate skills that support their self-care. They will be prepared to apply self-compassionate interventions to combat burn-out and improve patient outcomes.
Target Audience: Registered Nurses
Continuing Nursing Education (CNE): Contact Hours 23.6 The criteria for full CNE credit includes attendance at all sessions and completion of a program evaluation. Partial CNE credit will be prorated if 1-2 sessions are missed. No CNE contact hours will be awarded for individuals who miss more than 2 sessions. Course fee refunds are not available for missed sessions.
