The Michigan Center for Nursing provides leadership and direction to the Michigan Nursing Action Coalition Steering Committee, and supports the development and implementation of strategies to address the recommendations made in the Institute of Medicine (2010) report: The Future of Nursing: Leading Change, Advancing Health.
With this very important work in mind, we have established four Action Teams to focus on each of the following areas:Nursing Leadership, Nursing Practice, Nursing Education, Nursing Diversity. Population/Public health will be integral to the work of all four teams.
