Fall 2009 Institute of Nursing Excellence Participants - The Michigan Center for Nursing (MCN) and the Michigan Organization of Nurse Executives (MONE) are pleased to announce the participants of the Fall 2009 Institute of Nursing Excellence (INE) held on October 18-21, 2009 at Crystal Mountain in Thompsonville, Michigan. The Institute of Nursing Excellence is a 3 1/2 day retreat style professional development program designed to reward excellent direct-care nurses; encourage them to remain in the profession; increase their capacity for leadership; and enhance their ability to be role models; and enhance their ability to attract others into the profession.

"Thirty-four nurses have recently been rewarded and recognized at the Spring 2006 Institute of Nursing Excellence. The Michigan Center for Nursing (MCN) and the Michigan Organization of Nurse Executives (MONE) selected 34 nurses to attend Michigan's Spring 2006 Institute of Nursing Excellence (INE) held April 23-26, 2006 at the Yarrow Resort and Conference Center in Augusta, Michigan. The Institute of Nursing Excellence is a 3 1/2 day retreat style professional development program designed to reward excellent direct-care nurses; encourage them to remain in the profession; increase their capacity for leadership; and enhance their ability to be role models; and enhance their ability to attract others into the profession. During the retreat, INE participants discussed issues such as the professional excellence, teamwork, leadership, mentoring and self-renewal.

The Institute of Nursing Excellence is a 3 1/2 day retreat style professional development program designed to reward excellent direct-care nurses; encourage them to remain in the profession; increase their capacity for leadership; and enhance their ability to be role models; and enhance their ability to attract others into the profession.
