The Michigan Center for Nursing conducted a survey of licensed nurses in 2004 to collect data on their employment status, geographic distribution, age, plans to continue practicing, work setting, practice area, education, gender, and racial/ethnic background. This report presents the survey findings and description of the survey methodology.
